Some expensive things are just WORTH IT
I have been using white boar bristle hair brushes since childhood, some 70 years ago. I wanted a second brush for my travel case so bought this one about 8 years ago, and found it better than the one I had enjoyed for probably 50 years. This one is slightly larger than my vintage one, giving me a satisfying grip making careful control easier. The grooves on the sides are made to fit my finger tips and did I mention it looks gorgeous like a best-ever woodworking project. I got tired of using the smaller brush when I traveled so I recently bought this beauty so I have two matching brushes; one for home and one for travel. You ask why I don’t just put the one home brush in my travel case when I take a trip? I wouldn’t want to risk forgetting it and having to go to the store for a cheap plastic substitute. The boar bristles of varying lengths make my brushed hair look natural and the shape of the wood body is what I have grown used to over a lifetime and it truly does work better. The brush is the best I know of.
