It shed a lot of hairs

I bought this as a gift. When the first hairs let go we put it down to settling in and expected to see the odd hair shed. It actually worsened and hairs were shedding in ever increasing clumps. I purchased a new one for her, as I particularly like Kent brushes and I didn't want her to be disappointed. The new one does seem to be performing as expected and is holding together as it should.
