This brush is the perfect size and brushes and smooths long hair really well. I was a bit nervous when I read the previous reviews with some of them mentioning that the plastic bristles are too hard on the scalp but after trying it I think they are perfect for long and thick hair where you still need some level of detangling and I don't really feel them on my scalp at all. I imagine this might not work as well for people with fine hair but for me this brush is just perfect . I also got the small size for travel but actually I don't think I need anything bigger because it works through my hair in just a few brushes anyway

Great brush, I was a bit worried as some of the reviews stated that the plastic bits are too harsh on the scalp but I think that’s only if you have fine hair, they don’t even reach my scalp

Sadly this brush is not useable. The bristles are too sharp and my scalp was scratched.
Everything else I've ever purchased from Kent has been excellent.
