This is my third Kent brush, and it doesn’t disappoint. I own an MN11 (military style) stiff bristle and an OS11 (soft bristle). They were great, but I was looking for something in the middle to wave up my hair and not be too stiff or too soft. I reached out to Kent and they suggested this brush, the OG2. This will be my go to brush, and I will also take it with me when traveling. It does a great job waving up my short, wavy African-American hair. This is a brush you’ll have for life. I do wear a head scarf (du-rag) to make the waves spin, but this brush doesn’t brush the waves out and is not too soft where you won’t see any waves develop.

I bought this for my husband after his 50 year old hairbrush broke. The Kent brush is stylish and comfortable to use, but it is slightly too soft for my husband’s wavy and very thick hair.

This is by far the finest hairbrush I have ever owned. It makes brushing a pleasure. I love the way it feels in my hair and on my scalp. I was so impressed, I gave two Kent brushes as gifts.
