My mother bought this for me for christmas and I just brought along with me on a week trip away and I felt it wasn't worth the space it took up in my bag. It folds up nice and compact and the texture of the handle and button is nice, but the actual brushing experience was pretty awful for my hair. I feel like I could brush my hair better with my fingers honestly. the bristles are not long enough or strong enough to get through knots. The edge of the bristles is not straight enough to get a good parting on the hair. It won't be coming with me again unfortunately.

Sorry, but not quite what I’d hoped for. It appears pretty robust, which is good, and I really like the concept of the design but, to me, it is flawed.

The curved design around the point of swivel means the handle prevents most of the bristles getting close enough to the person’s head to actually brush the hair. Because of this, both the brush head and the bristles need to be a bit longer. The bristles would also benefit from being fractionally more spaced apart. These improvements would still keep it compact enough for a travel brush.

As it stands, I can’t see how this would be suitable for all hair types/lengths (mine is short, and I don’t find it nearly as satisfactory as I had hoped). I’m glad I didn’t pay full price for it. Also not thrilled with the colour but that’s not a real issue for me.
