This is a beautiful well-made brush. My only complaint is the dark bristles had a small bit of white bristles in which affects the aesthetic a bit, but not the function. The brush isn't able to get through my thick hair to the scalp like I was hoping, but this is my first trial at a boar bristle brush so maybe my hair is just too thick for bristle.

I purchased this item for a friend. In the past I have bought one for myself and am absolutely delighted with it. I use it every day and I do feel it has helped my hair as I have a problem with thinning hair and a scalp condition.

I was looking for a high quality, but not excessively expensive real boar bristle brush with a nice wooden handle and this is it! I'll be using it for a long time, it seems to help my scalp and keep my hair full and soft.
