This is the one. I had another larger more densely bristled Kent boar brush for years, I hardly ever used because it never felt as if it reached my scalp. Instead I moved to the Mason Pearson rubber based combo boar and nylon, but never thrilled with that either. I read about this one, looking for a pure boar, with longer and wider spaced bristles to do a better job. This one I love. It's small, but the bristles are very good, and the handle fits beautifully in my hand. The rubber cushion is likely an asset. Delivery was remarkably fast, Kent is a pleasure to shop with.

A store salesman sold me the wrong type many years ago, but Kent's website set me straight. This lovely brush makes my thick hair sleek and soft!
